For our very first session with the Young Bilinguals (3-5 years), we discovered the colorful and exciting world of Eric Carle's books by reading "The Very Busy Spider"

Then, led by Tanya, one of our summer interns from Princeton University, we sang and danced to "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" (or "Eency Weency Spider" for you Brits out there !)
Then we played a very lively game of animal bingo using images of all the animals the spider met in the story.

To finish off the activity, we made some cool spiders using large wooden beads and colorful pipecleaners.
See you next week !
