In early December, our Flat Stanley guest from Isle of Lewis, Scotland spent an exciting weekend In Flainville, Normandy (near Dieppe) with Paul, Basile and Antoine getting ready for Christmas.
With the boys, Flat Stanley trimmed the tree ("le sapin" in French) ...
set up the Nativity scene ("la crèche" in French)
stayed warm by the fire
played outside the house
saw a cow
took a spin on a bike
to visit Flainville beach (here's a view from the dunes)
visited the port and its colorful fishing boats
saw fishermen at work with their nets
and then got a close view of the catch of the day !
