On Tuesday we pretended to go on an African Safari. We started the day by creating our own safaris with mini animals and trees. Then we created safari books that showed what animals we saw on our safari. After a picnic lunch outside, we decorated our fingernails to look like colorful zebras and giraffes, made lion masks out of paper plates, and had an elephant peanut race. During the race, we had to push the peanut across the floor using our noses, just like an elephant! After the race we ate some peanuts and bananas before heading outside to cool off in the "watering hole." It was another fun day!
