Samba's Flat Stanley down the shore for Memorial Day

Flat Stanley had a wonderful trip to the Jersey Shore and is on his way back to you. I think he really enjoyed his time in the Philadelphia suburbs, but seemed to long to return to France, especially after watching the French Open over the weekend with Karen!

We began our visit over Memorial Day weekend.

Flat Stanley joined us as we traveled to our beach house in Stone Harbor, NJ where he proved very useful during our crabbing efforts.

The beach was a little too sandy for him, so we left him at home to sunbathe on the patio. He also enjoyed riding the airplane ride on the Boardwalk in Wildwood and going out for ice cream. Uncle Ross even took him for a sunset boat ride.

This past weekend, we took Flat Stanley to the Devon Horse Show. We watched as the horses jumped over numerous hazards and pulled fancy carriages. I think Stanley's favorite part was riding the ferris wheel and merry-go-round.

We will certainly miss Flat Stanley !
