Pop Art !

Yesterday we held a special Pop Art workshop

we created our own  portraits à la Warhol...

After a lunch break, we went and visited the Roy Lichtenstein exhibit at Centre Pompidou

After a well-earned snack we returned to KidsCreate headquarters and made collages or "combines" à la Robert Rauschenberg

Happy Halloween !

Boo ! This week's session was spooky and filled with ghouls - vampires, witches, ghosts, monsters, spiders, bats, black cats and such.

After learning about the tradition of Halloween the kids practiced using the keywords and then dressed up and went Trick or Treating for candy.

KidsCreate 2013-2014 got started yesterday at top speed. Our youngest Roadtrippers (4 years old) drew self-portraits on their driver's licenses :

and got to know each other while discovering this year's theme : USA Road Trip.

Classes start up again the week of September 30th.

Here is the official schedule :

Monday 5-6 pm :  4 year olds (PS/MS)

Tuesday 3:15-4:15 pm : 5/6 year olds (GS/CP)

Tuesday : 5-6 pm : 5 year olds (GS)

Wednesday 10 am - 12 noon : KidsCreate Academy (8-11 year olds, CE2-CM2)

Thursday 5-6 pm : 5/6 year olds (GS/CP)

Friday : 5-6 pm : 7/8 year olds (CE1/CE2)

We also have bilingual and teen groups forming. Please call for more info.

Last Saturday, the "English & Creativity" team was at the Mairie du 17ème for the Forum des Associations.
This was our very first time there and we truly enjoyed meeting lots of new people and telling them what a great time we have in our KidsCreate workshops.
